What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
